Dashboard

Getting started · See the next gig, what is waiting for your answer and what's coming up – all on the band's first page.

What it's for

The Dashboard is the first page of your band. It shows the next gig, a few key numbers, the coming events and everything that needs your attention, so you rarely have to look anywhere else. You can answer events right on the page.

When to use it

  • You want to know when and where the next gig or rehearsal is.
  • You want to quickly answer events you haven't responded to yet.
  • As an admin, you want to see which gigs are missing players, answers or payments.

How to

Check the next gig

  1. Open Dashboard in the menu. The large card at the top is the Next gig: date, title, time, venue, its status and how many days until it starts.
  2. The card also shows how many members answered, your own answer and, if gig logistics are planned, the day's schedule. If you are on the crew you see Your call time, and You bring lists equipment you are responsible for.
  3. Select Event details (or the card) to open the gig.

Result: If there is no upcoming gig, the card says Nothing scheduled yet.

Answer events from the dashboard

  1. Look at Needs attention. Events you haven't answered yet are at the top.
  2. Select Available, Maybe or Unavailable under the event. Your answer is saved straight away.
  3. To add a note for the band, open the event and add it there – see Availability.
  4. When everything is answered, the panel says You've responded to every upcoming event.

Result: The event leaves the list and the Waiting for your answer tile goes down.

Read the tiles

  1. Next rehearsal – date, time and place of the next rehearsal. If none is planned it says Nothing planned – find a date and opens Event planning.
  2. Waiting for your answer – how many events and date polls you still have to answer. Select it to see them.
  3. Gigs in with the year, for example Gigs in 2026 – all gigs this year, split into played and planned.
  4. Next 30 days – gigs and rehearsals in the coming 30 days. Members who see the band's finances get Gig fees with the year here instead, with the number of gigs not paid yet.
  5. Select a tile to open the matching page.

Work through "Needs attention"

  1. After the events to answer, Needs attention lists date polls with dates you haven't answered (Poll: with how many dates are answered) and announcements you haven't confirmed yet.
  2. Admins also see to-dos for the whole band: gigs missing key players in the lineup, answers still missing in the next 30 days and past gigs not fully paid.
  3. Select an entry to open the right page.
  4. If not everything fits, select Show all in the panel's header to see the whole list.

See what's coming up

  1. Coming up lists the next events with date, time, type, venue and status. Select one to open it.
  2. Show all opens Events with the full list.
  3. Next to it you see the latest Announcements (new ones you haven't confirmed are marked New; All announcements opens the full list). Members who see the band's finances get Finances – last 6 months instead: fees, costs & payouts and the balance per month.

Permissions and limits

  • Everyone in the band sees the dashboard. Gigs, tiles and lists need the View events permission (all default roles have it); without it you see only announcements.
  • Answering from the dashboard needs Answer own availability (all default roles).
  • The day's schedule, call time and equipment on the next gig need View gig logistics (all default roles).
  • Gig fees, the finance chart and unpaid gigs need See all finances (Band Admin and Band Manager by default).
  • Missing answers for the whole band need Edit events (Band Admin and Band Manager by default). Gigs missing key players are shown to Band Admins and Band Managers when the band uses lineups.

Examples

A quick check on Monday

Tomáš opens Pulse on his phone. Waiting for your answer shows 2. He taps Available for the Friday rehearsal and Unavailable for a gig in May, then sees on the Next gig card that his call time on Saturday is 16:00.

The manager's week

Eva, the Band Manager, sees in Needs attention that one gig is missing key players and 5 answers are missing in the next 30 days. She opens the gig to fix the lineup, then checks the Gig fees tile for gigs not paid yet.

Common mistakes

  • Thinking the dashboard shows every event. Coming up shows only the next few – use Show all or Events for the full list.
  • Expecting cancelled events on the dashboard. Cancelled events are left out.
  • Closing Complete your profile without filling it in. The band then can't see your name or instruments – open Profile any time to finish it.

Troubleshooting

The dashboard shows only announcements.
Your role doesn't include View events. Ask your band admin if you should see events.
Waiting for your answer shows a different number than Waiting for my answer in the menu.
The tile counts unanswered events and date polls together; the quick filter in the menu counts events only. Open polls have their own quick filter, Open polls.
