Your profile

Account & settings · Set your name, photo, contacts and personal details once – every band you play in sees the same profile.

What it's for

Your profile tells your bandmates who you are and how to reach you. It is shared by all your bands, so you fill it in only once. Only Name is required; everything else is optional and helps with planning, travel and emergencies.

When to use it

  • You have just joined and want your bandmates to recognise you.
  • Your phone number or chat app changed.
  • You want to hide your contact details from one band, but not from another.
  • The band travels abroad and needs your date of birth or an emergency contact.

How to

Fill in who you are

  1. Open the account menu (your photo or initials, top right) and select Profile – or select Edit my profile on your own member page. The profile has the same tabs as your member page: Overview, Contact, Availability, Transport & gear, Emergency and My bands.
  2. On Overview, under Who you are, fill in Name – this is how bandmates see you. Add Stage name, First name and Last name if you like.
  3. Write a few words in About me (optional).
  4. Select Save at the bottom – it saves your changes in all tabs at once. ← My member page at the top takes you back.

Result: Your new name and details appear in every band you are in.

Add or change your photo

  1. Open Profile (tab Overview).
  2. Select Upload photo and choose a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF image (max 2 MB).
  3. To remove the photo, select Remove.

Result: The photo is saved straight away – you don't need to select Save for it.

Add ways to reach you

  1. Open Profile and go to the Contact tab.
  2. Select Add contact, choose the Type (for example Phone, WhatsApp, Signal, Instagram) and enter the contact.
  3. Select the star to make one contact your Primary contact.
  4. Remove a contact with the bin icon.
  5. Select Save.

Result: Bandmates can call or message you with one tap from your member page. Your sign-in email is shown to them as well.

Show or hide your contacts for one band

  1. Open Profile and go to the My bands tab.
  2. In the card of the band, open Show my contact details to bandmates.
  3. Choose Show, Hide, or Band default to follow the band's setting.

Result: The change is saved immediately (Privacy updated). It applies only to that band.

Add personal and emergency details

  1. Open Profile.
  2. On the Emergency tab, fill in Emergency contact, Emergency phone, and if useful Allergies and Medical notes.
  3. On the Overview tab, under Personal details, set Date of birth, Nationality, Time zone, Languages I speak and your Regional format (how dates, times and numbers look). Leave time zone or format empty to use the band's.
  4. Select Save.

Result: The band has what it needs for travel, bookings and emergencies. Who sees what is explained under Permissions.

Set your instruments for each band

  1. Open Profile and go to the My bands tab. Each band's card saves on its own.
  2. In each band's card, pick your instruments under My instruments (★ = primary). Mark your main one with the star.

Result: The band sees what you play, for example when planning a lineup.

Permissions and limits

  • Your name, stage name, first and last name, photo, About me, nationality, languages and time zone are visible to bandmates who can see the member list.
  • Your contacts and sign-in email are visible to bandmates if contacts are shown for that band (your own choice, or the band default). People with the Edit members permission (Band Admin by default) always see them.
  • Date of birth and Emergency info are seen only by you and by people with the See sensitive details (date of birth, emergency info) permission (Band Admin by default).
  • Your availability rules and your transport and gear are explained in Availability and Equipment.
  • Only you can change your profile.

Examples

A tour abroad

The manager needs dates of birth for the hotel and festival. Add your Date of birth, Nationality and an Emergency contact – only you and the band admins see the private parts.

You play in two bands

In your main band everyone may have your number; in the other band you prefer to stay private. Under My bands, set Show for the first band and Hide for the second.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving the page without selecting Save – changes to names, contacts and details are lost. Only the photo and the My bands settings save on their own.
  • Putting your phone number in About me – it is then visible even when you hide your contacts. Use How to reach me instead.
  • Expecting Hide to hide your contacts from the band admin – people with Edit members always see them.

Troubleshooting

"Please fix the highlighted fields." is shown.
One of the fields isn't valid – for example an email contact without @, or an availability rule with missing dates. Correct the red field and select Save again.
My photo won't upload.
Use a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF image of at most 2 MB. Photos straight from a phone camera are often bigger – take a screenshot of it or make it smaller first.
How do I change my sign-in email?
The sign-in email can't be changed on the profile page. Add your other address under How to reach me, or ask your band admin for help.
